reaching youEverything that reaches does so
both inward and out.  I can’t reach you
without going in up to the shoulder
of what I am,  without pressing my face
to something crying out
to be both wild and asleep.

reaching you by Anthony-Ryan

As stated in the artists' comments:
The feeling is that too often we are not
fully ourselves, we are outside of who we
really are, so reaching toward this special
"you" in the poem, the speaker is also
reaching toward who he or she really is.

Harsh, not in its dealing with the subject,
but in the simple presentation of a fact.

Price of Love"Girlfriend," Boyfriend"
They're just titles,
Not contracts.
No one holds the deeds to my heart,
My love is not for sale, and
My affection can't be bought;
Official love is just an investment
In my interests, and a price
I'm just not willing to pay,
It's a debt I will not welcome,
A ransom I won't give into,
A deal I will not make.

Price of Love by Honestly-Not

From the suggester: If there was a more
down to earth and assertive way to explain to
people about love...I have yet to find it in verse.

ItchyFirst anniversary: Paper.
Our love unfolded.
Seventh anniversary: Wool.
It all unravelled.

Itchy by SCFrankles

Suggester: "The play on words in this very
short flash fiction piece will leave readers
torn between sadness and amusement."
