P.S.I'm not writing this naked,
But my heart is.
And it writes with all the partially healed wounds of yesterday,
Beating perilously strong with this love of you.

"P.S" by jackiewelles

This short, yet powerful poem that
exposes the bitter truth of being lonely
and what that loneliness does to a person.
Absolutely outstanding.

The use of small phrases to
create a well-structured verse is
wonderful here. Wonderful piece.

An old radio in my head by LloydSoul

A beautifully written, almost vintage like
poem telling of memories and dreams going through
the author's head. What's really special about
this piece, is that it is written backwards, but
it's not incredibly obvious.

There's no F in the sky... by kinipelahh

A thought-provoking piece and the
use of direct pronouns make this a real
personal read which can be felt by a diverse
range of readers.

Short Story               Jack sat slumped down at his desk in Psychology class, staring at his textbook, and waiting with the other students for class to start.  He was imagining the textbook floating in the air over his desk.  In his mind's eye he could picture it, above twelve inches of empty space, blatantly defying gravity.  The image stood out with an eerie clarity against the white-walled regularity of the rest of his surroundings.  He had even managed to work in the wavy-grained wood of the desk-top underneath, where he knew in reality, his textbook actually sat.  Logically he knew that – that the desk wasn't actually empty.  That the light that came pouring in through the single enormous window at the other end of the room was being reflected, not off of a bare wooden surface, but from the thick cardboard cover of Laws of Cognition and Perception.
"Short Story" by sjada

Very surreal, this piece explores
concepts of perception and how the human mind
works. Leaving the reader as bewildered as the
main character for the vast majority of the piece,
sjada quietly spins a believable web around
the themes, inspiring mixed feels in the reader.
