Suggester comments: "The beauty of this piece is truly
heartbreaking. From the first line it grabs your attention and
never lets go. The imagery is lovely and well-executed. It gives
the reader an impression of watching a beautiful nightmare unfold
before their eyes."

We Exist In Notebook PagesWe are on day five hundred and thirty
and you have compassion cradling my finger until
they are in a coma of fantasies about us,

You're not as celibate as I estimated since
you were lecturing your hands about
how much you craved to caress my skin.

I must know why I'm oh so attracted to it.
I'm the one with ceramic ankles;
if you maintain that sincere complexion
I might just shatter and if I do,

A fantastic piece of poetry by any standard which is
absolutely packed with unique descriptions. Its fluctuation
between different styles, fonts and text sizes provides a
refreshing, aesthetic appeal to the piece.

A Life Lesson on How to Livei.
Learn how to hear when there is no sound. Listen to the last heartbeats of a dead man, for they will tell you how to hold on, and how to let go, but you are the only one that can choose between the two. Hear the sorrow of a silent criminal at a confessional, because it can tell you where the line is and how to cross, but it's up to you to decide if you want to or not. Listen to the chemistry between two lovers and you will learn how to appreciate the love in everything people do.

Uncover how to see in the darkness, because it's a whole lot more important than anyone ever expects. Look at the hues of red in the night sky and the neon

The suggester remarks, "Uplifting and explorative, this
piece takes you through a whirlwind journey of the five senses,
its mood tender and warm and inescapably human." I couldn't
agree more.

My GoddessNestled in a halo of royal purple the face of a goddess stares, unblinking. In that instant the painted dunes of history have possession of me. The sand beneath my feet is fine and runs in a mocking parody of water every time my foot falls. The sky has a sharpness and clarity long since sacrificed to the advancement of man and his machines. The sun slides over my shoulders, liquid and warm as honey.
I blink and Im once again in my room of brick and glass. A ceiling fan whirls above, its hum and breath the only life. But no, the goddess is still here. Her eyes, the portals to another place, are closed.

"My Goddess" by ~ArchArad
The intense connection between animals and their owners
is summed up beautifully in this piece. Though short on left,
the beautiful imagery captures the imagination. Even dog people
couldn't fail to be whisked away by this little kitten.

How to Touch a Life It's hard to recall the events that lead to this day. All the hell and hardships weathered to meet this point in the crossroads. Where I no longer see your guiding hand reaching out to help me. I admit freely that we were never close; not like some other families or siblings I have for that matter. But there are moments in my mind that you're drilled in forever. Days and events I can never get rid of, nor would I dream of it. They're fashioned in me, deep into my spirit and soul.

=RoyalBlackheart shares her own story about how are
lives are touched by those who have just passed, imbuing the
piece with the small details that often strike us in the
midst of tragedy.
