they circled the coast

The artist uses this poem to take us beyond the
confines of our senses and logic, transcending our
consciousness with awareness of a timeless question,
and its answer which lies in between the lines.

jaw-thinned that your seams split.
Ice-tipped, you unfurl.

!A-C-I writes that this poem "is riddled
with fresh imagery. Although cryptic, it's effective.
Consisting of several haikus, they have been put together
seamlessly to create a strong narrative which is cleverly
conveyed through personification."

The Path We All TakeThe Path We All Take (C'est Le Chemin Que L'on Prend Tous)
You are walking along the beach
-The beaches of Normandy
Watching old ghosts canter to the shore
Riding along on their pale white horses
You see footprints in the sand
-The water washes them away
"Remember the flags-" she says
-Banners and horns blowing
You ask "To where do we go now?"
She stares and points ahead
You see fore-fathers in the distance
-The water washes them away
You reach a cross roads hand in hand
-Devils talk whispers
"Follow me, follow me-" you hear
Whispers, whispers in your ear
"C'est Le Chemin Que L'on Prend Tous-"
-Baptized, the water washes over you.

through visuals that evoke emotions and meanings
that are subtle, but profound.

The stars and moon were lovely this cold evening. Hallows Eve was right around the corner, tomorrow in fact, and the Earth was tilted to angle the beauty of the dark sky. The boy looked to the North Star as he went, shuffling along at an amble pace. There was no rush toward the Hallows Eve dance. He was a bit early anyway. The dance started around 9, he recalled, bu
"Bathed in Moonlight" by =RoyalBlackheart
=RoyalBlackheart weaves together the
tragic story of a young girl's death with the
elements of a horror story, creating a short
but chilling piece.

Mira and Her Brother by : devvisitere:
: devvisitere: has a very unique, brass style
of writing and it is evident here where he manipulates
a universal, domestic theme of "family" and turns it
into something morbid, shocking and incredibly well executed.
